Alright everyone. I suppose most of you have seen AJHQ's sneak peak of a major update. I don't really care about the Animal Jam celebrities in either of the teams, but I am betting on team Mira, because I used to subscribe to Aparri until I got exposed to the amount of cringe he was generating

Play Wild: Wednesday News

Hey jammers. Sorry for not posting sooner, my internet connection was very unstable, but hopefully itstaqys as it is now after a fix from the technicians. This week, members are given an ancient royal cape. I'm guessing that they might release a crown to complete the set!

Marine stuff and monarch butterflies are an odd combination, but who cares right? All these items are on sale in the sapphire shop. If you don't have enough sapphires, you can check out the Play Wild Treasure Hunts pages to find out when you can earn them by luck. The days of the treasure hunts vary in different time zones.

The typhoon armor set is the next big thing in Play Wild. They seem to be inspired from Asian culture, I bet it would look good on any animal.

Hounds of the Falling Skulls recruiting!

Good day, jammers. As you all know roleplaying has been a big deal in Animal Jam, with many jammers gathering around Sarepia Forest in search of roleplaying groups or simply meet up with their group buddies.

I would like to introduce Hounds of the Falling Skulls, a wolf pack belonging to the dark realm. It is the current roleplaying group that I am part of in Animal Jam. This group was founded not too long ago, and it is in dire need of active members.

Play Wild: Freedom Party

For the first time ever, the seasonal Freedom Party has been released in Play Wild. It's the moment to watch a dazzling display of fireworks. This party was first spotted earlier this year due to a glitch, but I was lucky to have caught it during the desperate need of celebration.

Rare Item Monday

Happy Monday everyone! It's the time of the week again. The rare firefly necklace is today's featured item found in Epic Wonders. Although it is not as exquisite as a rare diamond necklace, it has the potential to attract jammers for its mystical beauty.

It is quite typical in Play Wild to have items sold at a higher price than usual. These pair of rare feathered boots resemble cheetos, as some jammers would say. You can buy this item at Jam Mart Clothing.

Play Wild: Koalas!

One of the first 6 avatars in Animal Jam, these heart-melting marsupials are now available in Play Wild. Koalas are the last to be added in this time's major Play Wild update, they were first shown in the summer carnival loading screen.

New Masterpiece Frames!

Hey jammers. Today we have some cool new masterpiece frames, as mentioned in the title. Since pixel art still remains a hit in Animal Jam, AJHQ decided to introduce a new variant of the pixel frame.

The rainbow pixel frame looks dazzling, it definitely caught my eye when a member of the Animal Jam Facebook group first posted about it. There's also the ocean frame which commemorates World Oceans Day that has passed recently.

 Speaking of oceans, today is Tierney Tuesday. The Monterey Bay Aquarium finally has a sunfish on display! Did you know? Tierney Thys and her colleagues have been studying the giant ocean sunfish since the year 2000. According to her, each individual sunfish has its own personality. You can read more of this fantastic post here.

Before I end this post, I would like to make an announcement of the blog's newest page- Item Records! The item records have a list of rare item release dates, and latest or leaving items! Rare Item Monday

Welcome back, jammers. Take a look at the latest rares here on this post.

First up is the rare diamond necklace from Epic Wonders on Animal Jam. It's typical for rares to be more expensive, but it's no surprise when an Epic Wonders rare can have a price this high!

Rare cowboy boots are now available in Jam Mart Clothing on Play Wild. This red and purple accessory has a strong contrast to the sandy ground of the old wild west.

Play Wild: Membership Benefits

Membership benefits made its way to this mobile app long ago. I'd just like to share with you what's going on with this new feature. There is a promotion where certain sapphire packs can get you either a free 1 month membership or a 3 months membership. That's how I got my membership, actually.

 Besides getting 5 sapphires daily, members also receive cool gifts every week. So far, there are 5 of them. In the image above, members are given griffin wings and a grass mohawk. My mohawk doesn't look much like grass, but it comes in other colors as well.

Here, we can see 3 den items. They are the palace king throne, the palace queen throne, and the palace fireplace respectively. They probably come in different colors too, my king and queen thrones don't match each other, which is kinda sad.

Animal Jam: World Oceans Day!

Hello jammers! As most of you may know, yesterday was June 8th AKA World Oceans Day. Some people describe the ocean as a vast body of water that is a prime example of some of nature's famous characteristics-- it stays unknown and unforgiving. Nonetheless, that fact cannot stop you from learning more about the ocean. You can start by clicking on the banners around Jamaa, or watching Tierney Thys' videos!

Animal Spotlight: California Condor

The California condor (Gymnogyps californianus) is a New World Vulture and the largest North American land bird. The species decline throughout the 20th century, and was eventually declared extinct in the wild in 1987, as the last wild individuals were captured. The critically endangered California Condor was first described by English naturalist George Shaw in 1797.
