Animal Jam: World Oceans Day!

Hello jammers! As most of you may know, yesterday was June 8th AKA World Oceans Day. Some people describe the ocean as a vast body of water that is a prime example of some of nature's famous characteristics-- it stays unknown and unforgiving. Nonetheless, that fact cannot stop you from learning more about the ocean. You can start by clicking on the banners around Jamaa, or watching Tierney Thys' videos!

If you absolutely love to hang out by the sea or in the waves to a point where you can almost call it your happy place, then you are definitely a thalassophile, it means you are an ocean lover! To celebrate World Oceans Day, AJHQ decided to share their love for the ocean with every jammer.

Even though this is very typical of AJHQ to release a den, a pet, a returning animal or another wild weekend, what makes this week's update special is that they're underwater themed! As far as I know, there aren't many jammers who favor the underwater areas in Jamaa. Let's go take a look at AJHQ's newest den.

Why is there a cork here

Dolphins are welcomed back to Jamaa, and I am now one of them. This avatar is based on a small pink dolphin plush I have. Now, back to the Sandcastle. The furnishing is simple, I am not expecting much due to the lack of underwater items.

This is the first room you will come across upon entering the den. I remember that writing desk from Play Wild, how adorable!

On the second floor, there are music instruments accompanied by sparkling treasure. This is perfect for Make Music Day. According to the Jamaa Journal, June 21st is the day people around the world gather to make music. I believe this is going to be an exciting day, especially music has become part of our culture from the old days to modern times. I am a beginner violinist and Kirameki is an experienced pianist. She just went up to grade 7 this year, props to her!

Let's not forget the secret shop. You can swim over to the west side of the sandcastle den until you see a small coral reef near the balcony with a pool table. There's a rather tiny treasure chest sitting there. It blends in very well with the environment, after all that's pretty much the point of AJHQ's secret shop.

This simple-designed treasure chest can be bought for 950 gems. The best part is that it's available to all jammers.

Moving on, pet dolphins are introduced to the diamond shop for the usual 3 diamonds price. However, jammers aren't flocking to the shop because pet dolphins are here...

Another wild weekend brings smiles to all jammers. The last tail time released on a wild weekend was the skullies. I think most jammers, even non-members can afford these cool accessories.

Before I had membership, I was carrying around 50 diamonds with nothing to spend on. The tails are up for a cheap price of 3 diamonds, just like the pet dolphins! There are many jammers exclaiming MY LOOK IS NOW COMPLETE!

I guess AJHQ sure had their job well done. The skunk tail and the double tail were the stars of the diamond shop catalog. Grab them now before the weekend nears its end!
