Hello jammers, this update we have some thrilling news for jammers with membership. They're getting the ALL NEW solid and rainbow spikes. This is the same case as the custom spike collars and the skullies. Grab the last variation today!
Let's take a look at the spikes before we move on to other news. Here's all the 4 variations of spikes. The first 2 are 'long', and the others are 'short'.

They cost 24 diamonds in total. *looks at diamond count* Wow I can buy 2 sets for each color. The quirks of being a non-member. There's nothing to spend my diamonds on.
In my opinion, these available-for-a-weekend stuff don't really have a point. The game is already FULL of rare or highly coveted items, (and they're part of the reason for scamming, hacking, etc) I don't see why there should be more 'one of a kind' items.
Llamas have returned to Jamaa aftera hoofful of adventures. You can learn more about llamas and even how to draw them in the Chamber of Knowledge. It's been almost 2 years since they were welcomed to Jamaa. Remember when jammers found a clue of them at the Canyons Pathway?
Up next we have pet hyenas! You can pick them up at the Diamond Shop along with the cool arctic armor. I've also made a little hyena sticker for you to decorate your blog or page. Simply remove my username and you can use it however you like! You can even change the colors or remove the white outline. But before you save the image, make sure you abide to these rules:
- Never claim that you made the sticker. AJHQ is the original creator.
- You do not have to credit me when you are using the picture.
- You may not sell this picture as it is against the Animal Jam rules and you can get in trouble for it!
As we all know, today is rare item Monday. The Jamaa Journal hints that a rare item will be sold at the Summer Carnival, but there are no items in the carnival right now. Also, be sure to catch up with the rare item post later!
Oh my, another new animal! You know, I actually thought AJHQ meant 'sign' as in literal signboards not animal clues. These are the hints so far, they're very subtle. I'm not sure if anyone else noticed it. From what we can tell, this animal has retractable claws and relatively large paws.
It is not possible for those prints to belong to a type of bear, since bears have more than 4 toes. The front pawprints are exactly in front of the ones behind, and these clues are found in 3 different habitats. It means this animal, most likely a cat, is highly adaptable.
My best guess for this new animal would be... a
BOBCAT! They're found in woodlands, forests, mountainous areas, aaaaaand Canada (where it's really cold)! I could be wrong though. Who knows, maybe AJHQ will give us more hints to figure out in the next update.
Last but not least, we have banners that give information about the Great Backyard Bird Count and Polar Bear Day. If you haven't got enough doses of animal fun facts, you should probably check out the Wild Peaks exhibition at the Conservation Museum.
Seriously, does anyone even go to that museum? It's so underrated.
